PackTite’s ThermaSpot Heat Sensor is an essential tool to confirm items heat treated to kill bed bugs does reach 49°C (120°F); the lethal temperature for all life stages of bed bugs - even killing bed bug eggs (the hardest life stage to kill).
An essential tool if you are processing items with:
•    your clothes dryer,
•    a commercial dryer,
•    a portable heat chamber, such as the PackTite Closet, or
•    a heat treatment by a professional pest control company.
ThermaSpot will confirm the kill temperature of all life stages of bed bugs was achieved when it turns from white to black. Package includes 10 heat sensors.
Place the sensor in the thickest or deepest area of the item to be treated.  When the heat treatment has finished, inspect the ThermaSpot to determine the lethal temperature was reached. This is indicated when the senor changes from white to black. A ThermaSpot may only be used once and will not revert to the original colour once the kill temperature was achieved.
