Returns Policy

A Customer Friendly Approach

We will never send you a product that has been previously returned.  All products we ship are new and unused.

We will accept returns under some conditions, e.g. damaged or defective products. We consider allowing returns is a customer-friendly approach, noting some other retailers will not honor returns when it comes to bed bug products.

All returned items must be in the same condition as it was received and include:

  • All packaging such as boxes, bags, and tags
  • Accessories such as cords and remotes
  • Certificates, manuals, and warranty cards 
  • "Free gifts" or bonus items
  • All items included in a bundle

In all cases, you must receive a RGA (return goods approval) number from Bed Bug Mutts and the RGA number must be written on all packages. Contact Bed Bug Mutts at 604-460-0124 or email to discuss the return and obtain your RGA number.

When we receive a return, theproduct is heat treated on arrival to remove any chance of an infestation coming into our warehouse. Products are then returned to the manufactuer, or used in our own research studies.

Damaged or Defective Products

  • Bed Bug Mutts will accept the return of a damaged or defective product within 30 days of purchase and will replace that product at no additional cost
  • Products must be shipped back with original packaging to our return address:

  • If Bed Bug Mutts determines the product is not defective a restocking fee of 25% plus shipping will be charged
  • You must contact us before returning the product to receive an RGA (return good approval) number and a pre-paid shipping label
  • Contact Bed Bug Mutts at 604-460-0124 or email bedbugmutts@shaw.ca  to discuss the return and obtain your RGA number


Other Returns

  • Bed Bug Mutts will accept returns of any product within 30 days of purchase, providing they are not abused, damaged or used
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Products must be in the original packaging and unopened
  • Opened products that are not used can also be returned but may be subject to restocking fee of up to 25%
  • The product must have the original packaging
  • Products without original packaging will be accepted for a merchandise credit as long as they have not been used
  • Contact us before you ship any products for a RGA (return goods approval) number
  • Contact Bed Bug Mutts at 604-460-0124 or email bedbugmutts@shaw.ca to discuss the return and obtain your RGA number

General Information On Returns

  • Please allow 7-10 days to process your return
  • Refunds usually post to the credit card within 7 days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account number only
  • Include the return label (sent to you in the original shipment) with your product and indicate the RGA number and the reason for the return
  • We recommend you return items with the insured/proof of delivery option excised
  • We also recommend that you use the original shipping carton and packing materials
  • Please do not return items COD (cash on delivery)
  • Any charges incurred by Bed Bug Mutts for COD shipments will be subtracted from the amount of the returned item and you will be returned the difference
  • If the COD cost exceeds the value of the returned product, the credit card used for the original purchase will be charged for the remaining balance
